about, and comment policy.

This blog is one-third parody, one-third satire, and one-third activism. Please keep that in mind when you read it.

SNWPD was inspired by Macon D's interesting blog, Stuff White People Do. It's not meant to be a mockery of that blog, it's meant to be a response.  That blog criticizes white people, this blog will do the same for non white people.

I'm going to be swiping most of my comment policy from Macon's blog, because I think it's interesting how racist it sounds when it's not about white people, and I think it's an eye opener to show that people often think it's okay to be prejudiced against white people but not other races.

Comment Policy:

1. Please don't comment as "Anonymous," because a comment section with multiple Anonymouses will make discussion difficult. If I can figure out how to assign your comment a name based on IP, I'll do so.

2. Do not ask why I hate people of color, or accuse anyone else here of hating people of color. I don't. I'm not writing this to say that all people of color are bad, just that sometimes they do things that are worthy of a blog entry. If you're a POC and you keep an open mind while reading this blog, you'll probably realize that.

3. The posts I make aren't claims that all POC or people of a certain ethnicity do something, so if you don't feel it applies to you, let it go.

4. Don't leave random comments that have nothing to do with the post.

5. If you disagree with something written, please explain why, instead of just posting "You're wrong/stupid/racist/etc." That adds nothing to the discussion. Also, if you do disagree with something, keep your disagreement focused on the content of the post or comment, and not on the person who wrote it.

6. No threatening other people, or the blog owner.

7. Comments should be mostly in English (including a foreign phrase is one thing, posting all in French is another) and if it's not in good English, I might not pay much attention to it. If you don't put effort into what you write, you can't expect others to put effort into deciphering it.

8. Don't bother to point out that white people sometimes do the same thing. This blog is not about white people. That's what SWPD is for.

9. If you're a POC and you want to interact here with white people, stop and consider first that the way you're about to act may actually be a common way that your race acts. Yeah I know how fucked up that sentence sounded. That's why I copied it nearly verbatim from the other site.

But seriously, be nice to each other.
